Rod is a Board Member and Principal with Lea+Elliott. With over 40 years of experience, Rod is one of Lea+Elliott’s most knowledgeable vehicle specialists. Rod is a principal member of the NFPA 130 (Standard for Fixed Guideway Transit and Passenger Rail Systems) Committee. He also participates in the ASCE 21 Technical Committee (APM Standards), where he has contributed to the development of vehicle requirements over several editions of the standards. His contributions have impacted vehicle and subsystems performance requirements in addition to automatic train control, safety standards and car body and bogie/truck structural requirements.
