Aaron has more than 25 years of experience in the transit industry. He has managed major airport APM rehabilitation, modernization, and capital asset replacement programs, including assignments at George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. His technical expertise includes electrical power distribution, traction power, communications, system integration, and testing and commissioning. His project experience spans planning, design, procurement, construction oversight, contract compliance, and final acceptance.
Aaron leads Lea+Elliott’s modeling group, LEGENDS© Simulation Models that enable Lea+Elliott to evaluate transit system performance, power requirements, operating scenarios, and design alternatives in support of system planning and design.
Aaron also serves as an alternate voting member of the NFPA 130 Technical Committee.

- If you could be anywIf you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be? – I would be on a beach, with beer in my hand, listening to Jimmy Buffet and Zac Brown Band.
- Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up? – I always wanted to build bridges as a child, which directed me to engineering. Studying engineering led me to love modeling and design.
