Diane Woodend Jones Named Chairman of Lea+Elliott, Inc.

DALLAS/FORT WORTH: The Board of Directors of Lea+Elliott, Inc. has elected Diane Woodend Jones, AIA, AICP, LEED AP^® as the firm's Chairman of the Board, effective June 7, 2010. Diane succeeds Philip Castellana who served as Chairman for the past three years.

Diane is a principal with Lea+Elliott and has served on its Board of Directors for many years. While on the Board of Directors, she developed and currently leads the firm's Strategic Planning Initiative.  In addition, Diane has served in the management of the operations of the Lea+Elliott's Central Region for many years.  She has over 30 years of professional experience in architecture, airport planning, transportation system planning and project development, transportation system and facilities interfaces, system procurement and contract compliance, and program management.   

Diane received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas and a Masters in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. She has been with Lea+Elliott since 1989.
